HOLIDAY HOME CLEANING
Holiday home cleaning in West Jutland. Guest ready on time, every changeover.
We run regular changeover cleaning in holiday homes along the west coast, from Bork and Hvide Sande to Henne Strand and Blåvand. A changeover is not an ordinary clean. It has to be finished before the next guest is standing in the driveway.
- Fixed changeover days, usually Saturday in high season
- The same fixed team, we know the houses
- Linen change, bed making and setup by agreement
- We report back if something is broken or missing

Overview
What changeover cleaning demands, and why it is different
A holiday home on the west coast takes more punishment than an ordinary house. Sand gets into everything, salt and damp settle on panes and taps, and the house has to be used again on the same day it is vacated. That is why changeover cleaning is a discipline of its own.
We have run fixed holiday home routes in this area for a long time, and we know the houses: where the hot tub sits, where the sand collects, which houses struggle to dry out and which have a staircase everyone forgets. That experience is the difference between a house that is clean and a house that feels clean when the guest unlocks the door.
Time is the decisive factor
Most rentals have check-out in the morning and check-in late afternoon. That leaves a window of a few hours in which the whole house has to be sorted. So we plan changeover days into a route in advance, so we know exactly when we are where, and so there is slack for the house that turns out to be in worse shape than expected.
What guests actually notice
Holiday home reviews are strikingly often about cleanliness, and they are nearly always about the same five things: the bathroom, the kitchen worktop, the beds, the floor under the table and the smell when you open the door. Those are what we spend the time on.
A house can be vacuumed and still feel dirty if there is limescale on the shower screen or crumbs in the drawer. The details decide the stars.
We report back, not just clean
When you do not live near the house yourself, you depend on somebody telling you. We let you know if something has broken, if crockery or bulbs are missing, if there are traces of an accident, or if the house has been used harder than usual. That way you can react before the next guest arrives.

Our customers
We run regular routes for holiday home owners along the coast
Holiday home cleaning is one of our largest and most experienced disciplines. We have regular customers we serve season after season, and we know the rhythm of the west coast: high season with a changeover every Saturday, short stays in the shoulder season, and empty winter periods where the house still needs looking after.
🔑 Self-managing owners
Owners who handle bookings themselves through portals or their own site, and who need a fixed partner who simply runs the changeovers without being reminded.
🏨 Accommodation businesses and B&Bs
We also have a standing weekly agreement with a B&B in the Hvide Sande area. It means we are trained on several units in one day, hard deadlines and high season.
🧳 Owners who use the house themselves
Families who use the house part of the year and rent it out the rest. We prepare it before your own arrival and tidy up afterwards, so you walk into a house that is ready.
❄️ Winter and property checks
Outside the season we do deep cleaning, window cleaning and preparation for the season start, plus property checks by agreement.
We run fixed coastal routes, which keeps changeover days reliable and the price predictable.
How a standing agreement works
From first contact to a season in operation
We talk about the house
Size, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, hot tub or sauna, whether pets are allowed, how many guests, and which changeover days you run.
We view the house
We come by and walk through, so we know what it takes. That is what makes the price hold for the rest of the season.
Season plan
You send us your bookings or give us access to the calendar, and we place the changeover days into our route.
Operation and feedback
We run the changeovers, and you hear from us if something needs your attention. Otherwise you do not have to think about it.

Areas
Where we do holiday home cleaning
We are based in Hemmet, midway between the fjord and the coast, and run holiday home routes from Skaven and Bork Havn in the north down to Blåvand in the south. Because we work in routes, we can hold fixed changeover days even in high season.
Is your house in one of the smaller places in between? Just ask. See all areas.
What does holiday home cleaning cost?
The price depends on the size of the house, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, whether there is a hot tub or sauna, and how often we come. Standing season agreements cost less per changeover than one-off cleans, because they can be planned into the route.
- A fixed price per changeover, agreed before the season
- Fixed changeover days, high season included
- VAT invoice, with monthly consolidated invoicing if you prefer
- Add-ons such as linen and windows agreed in advance
Very dirty houses, move-out cleaning or large groups are priced individually, so you get a fair price for the time actually needed.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about summer house cleaning
Guest-ready cleaning is our standard changeover cleaning between guests in holiday homes and Airbnb. It typically includes vacuuming, mopping, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, wiping surfaces, interior windows, and emptying trash. Most jobs take about 1-3½ hours on site for our team, depending on size and how dirty the property is.
Yes. We carry both business liability insurance and workers' accident insurance. That means if we accidentally cause damage to your home, furniture or belongings during the cleaning, it is covered. Our team is also covered if a work accident happens at your property. You can safely hand over the key to us.
Yes, we specialize in changeover cleaning. We can adapt to fixed changeover days (typically Saturday) and ensure the house is ready for the next guest. We recommend booking a regular arrangement during peak season.
We normally expect a vacuum cleaner to be available. Everything else we bring: cleaning products, cloths, bin bags, and at least one toilet roll per bathroom. If there's no vacuum, just tell us-we usually have a backup so the cleaning can still be completed. If you have special requests or unusually high supply needs, we'll agree it in advance.
Yes. We can make beds with fresh linen and lay out clean towels between guests if that's part of your setup. You handle the laundry yourself, or we arrange a local laundry solution by agreement. Please agree this in advance so the linen is ready on site for the changeover day.
The price depends on the size, number of rooms, and condition of the property. See our starting prices on the pricing page, or contact us with your address and m², and we'll provide an accurate quote.
Yes. On changeover days we empty the indoor bins and take the bags to the collection point, run the dishwasher if needed and put clean dishes back, and check the fridge for leftovers. If you want the fridge fully emptied and wiped between guests or after the season, just let us know.
Yes. Many holiday homes use a key box or access via a rental agency. When booking, we agree on access, arrival time, and any special requirements (e.g., check-in times) so cleaning fits the changeover schedule.
Yes. If you live far from the house, we can drive out and check on it, for example after a storm, heavy rain or frost in winter. We look at the roof, windows, doors, any signs of damp or frost damage, heating and power, and whether everything is as it should be, and we send you photos and a short report. It can be a single visit as needed or a fixed winter arrangement. Contact us for a price.
Yes, by arrangement. For regular customers we can take the bed linen and towels home, wash them and put on a clean set for the next changeover. This requires two sets of linen, so there is always a clean set on the beds while the other is being washed. We price it by occupancy, for example just the double bed or the whole house. Arrange it in advance so we have the right number of sets ready.
Yes, we are very pet-friendly and love animals, so a dog, cat or other pets are perfectly fine, we have no phobias or anything like that. Your pet is welcome to stay home while we clean, as long as it does not get in the way of the work, for example by staying in another room or a quiet spot while we are busy. Do let us know in advance if there are animals in the home, so we can take it into account.
A regular cleaning keeps the home maintained: floors, surfaces, kitchen and bathroom. A deep cleaning is more thorough and also covers the spots that are not reached every time, for example descaling the bathroom and fixtures, oven and extractor hood, the insides of cabinets, panels, skirting boards, frames and doors, and extra focus on the kitchen. It is ideal before or after the season, when moving in, or when the home needs a deep going-over. We give a fixed price based on the size and condition of the property.
Yes. We are used to cleaning after dogs and cats in both holiday homes and private homes. We vacuum extra thoroughly for hair on sofas, rugs and beds, and can offer deeper odour removal and de-scaling for a small surcharge. Let us know in advance if pets are usually in the home so we can allocate the right time.
It applies to a holiday home you use yourself, but not to a summer house you run as a rental or business. If you both use the house yourself and rent it out, only the private part counts. If you are in doubt, check the rules on skat.dk or ask your accountant.
Yes, by arrangement. You can leave consumables in the house yourself, which we then use at no extra charge, or we can shop and restock, for example toilet paper, hand soap, dishwasher tablets and bin bags. When we shop, we invoice the items at cost price plus a small handling fee. We agree on what should be in stock, so the house is always guest-ready.
For regular changeover and rental customers we make a plan together. You share your booking calendar or your changeover days for the season, so we can reserve our time in advance, including in peak season when the days fill up fast. That way both you and we know when we are coming, and the house is always ready for the next guest. Please let us know in good time if anything changes.
Yes. We put furniture, cushions, decorative items and equipment back in place, so the house looks ready and consistent for the next guest. To get the setup right, we need photos of how things should be arranged, ideally a small photo set of the standard layout in each room. Once we have that, we reset the house to the fixed layout at every changeover, so it always looks the same and inviting.
If we find lost property during a changeover cleaning, we set it aside and let you know. We keep lost items for up to about four weeks, so they can be collected or sent back by arrangement. If they are not collected by then, we dispose of them.
Yes, we clean indoor hot tubs and jacuzzis, so they are left fresh and clean. Among other things we use pipe cleaner to clean the jets and pipework, so bacteria and biofilm are removed, not just the surface. We do not clean outdoor hot tubs. Arrange it in advance so we set aside the right amount of time and bring the right products.
