Overview
What a good commercial cleaning agreement has to deliver
A cleaning agreement for a business is not about square metres. It is about how the premises are used. Two offices of the same size can have completely different needs if one has four employees and the other has a reception, a lunch room and meeting rooms in use every day.
That is why we always start by looking at the premises and talking about usage, rather than quoting from floor area. It produces an agreement where the money goes where it matters: toilets, kitchen, touch surfaces and the entrance, rather than a fixed number of hours spread evenly over everything.
What should the agreement say?
A usable agreement describes concretely which tasks are done every time, which are done at intervals (skirting boards, interior windows, the fridge, deeper floor treatment) and what counts as an add-on. Without that split you end up arguing about whether something was included.
It should also state when the cleaning happens, who holds a key or code, what happens on public holidays and during leave, and how long the notice period is.
How often should cleaning happen?
Daily or several times a week: places with a lot of people coming and going, customer contact or food handling.
Weekly: the most common choice for smaller offices, clinics and shops.
Every two weeks: small offices with few staff, often combined with a deep clean a couple of times a year.
Signs the agreement needs adjusting
The toilet is the first thing people complain about. Once remarks start appearing about smell, about the coffee area or about the entrance, the frequency is usually too low for how the premises are used now. The same applies if you have taken on more staff, more visitors, or added a meeting room.
We would rather talk about adjusting the agreement than let it slide. Raising the frequency is cheaper than fixing it with a deep clean later.
Price matters, but not on its own
The cheapest agreement is often the one where the hours have been cut without cutting the list. Then the list only gets partly done, and you notice when somebody complains. So always ask to have the tasks described, not just the hours, and ask whether the same people come every time.

Start-up
We agree on key or code, alarm, waste handling and who to contact if something unexpected comes up. The first clean usually takes a bit longer.
Ongoing operation
Fixed days and familiar faces. You get one contact person and can message directly on WhatsApp if something needs changing.
Flexible frequencies

Yes, we offer commercial cleaning before or after normal working hours, so you can focus on business without disruption. We arrange times that suit your company.
Yes. We carry both business liability insurance and workers' accident insurance. That means if we accidentally cause damage to your home, furniture or belongings during the cleaning, it is covered. Our team is also covered if a work accident happens at your property. You can safely hand over the key to us.
Our commercial cleaning includes mopping and vacuuming in offices and corridors, wiping desks and common surfaces, cleaning toilets and kitchenette/canteen. We can also offer carpet cleaning and deep cleaning.

Travel costs and travel time are normally included in your invoice, so you know the total price upfront. There are two exceptions. If we have agreed on an hourly-based contract, travel time may be part of the hourly billing. And over longer distances we usually list travel as a separate line on the invoice, so it stays fully transparent. We always tell you about any travel costs before we start.
